Individual therapy is a joint process between a therapist and individual to inspire change or improve quality of life. There are many benefits to individual counseling, such as skills of handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, and reaching goals.
Therapy can help with overcoming obstacles and increasing positive feelings of compassion and self-esteem. The therapeutic journey of becoming self-aware and learning to be a human being and not a human doing is very cathartic. I will provide mindfulness tools to support with being grounded and not overcome with negative and racing thoughts.
